Oklahoma's Largest Waterfall

Turner Falls Park near Davis, OK

Turner Falls Park is nestled in the world famous Arbuckle Mountains of southern Oklahoma, just outside of Davis, Oklahoma, and is the oldest park in Oklahoma. Turner Falls has received national publicity and has served as a classroom for geologists and naturalists for decades. Many of the crystal clear underground springs from the Arbuckle Mountains form Honey Creek, which cascades down a 77-foot waterfall to form a natural swimming pool, making the majestic Turner Falls the largest waterfall in Oklahoma.

In fact, the Turner Falls area has been described as one of the three geological windows into our past - the other two being the Grand Canyon and the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The park is accented with beautiful picnic areas, nature trails, three natural caves, many geological wonders, and two unique swimming pools. As early as 1868, Turner Falls was known as a popular recreational area. The City of Davis now proudly operates the 1500 acre park.
