FAQ for PLP's Lake Vacation Rentals

We've had a lot of questions over the years about our property rentals so we listed the most common ones here! If you have any further questions, always feel free to Contact our Manager, Rosie Gagel.

Where are your rental properties located?

:We are conveniently located in Southern Oklahoma off I-35 just 90 miles north of Dallas and 75 miles south of Oklahoma City.  All of our properties are located less than one mile from Arbuckle Lake, 8 miles from Turner Falls and Falls Creek Youth Camp, 5 miles from the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and 25 miles North of Ardmore.

How far are your cabins from Turner Falls?

:All of our properties are centrally located and convenient to all of the areas amenities. Turner Falls is approximately 8 miles, Chickasaw National Recreation Area ~5 miles, and Arbuckle Lake is 1 mile or less (depending on which loading ramp you go to)!

What do we need to bring?

:All homes are furnished with sheets, towels, dishes, cookware, BBQ grills, and paper products. You just need food, drinks, charcoal, life jackets for the little ones (we have a few but not very small children), beach towels and fishing poles.

Do you need a fishing license to fish on the private lake?

:Yes, a fishing license is required on all private ponds and lakes, as well as Lake Arbuckle and Lake Murray.  You can purchase a fishing license online from Oklahoma's Wildlife Department or at the Walmart in Sulphur.

Are there any restaurants or grocery stores nearby?

:Yes, there are 2 grocery stores, a Walmart, several restaurants and lots of fast food places.

Do you accept pets?

:In some cases, a small pet is allowed, as long as you will be responsible for any damage.  There is a $25 pet fee per pet. All pets must be crated if left alone in the cabins. They are not allowed on the furniture, beds etc. The pet friendly cabins are Hidden Oaks Cabin and Vista del Sol.

Where do we check in?

:If you have already booked and received the directions and key box code, you can go directly to your home. If you are paying the remainder of your bill in cash, just call Rosie at (580) 618.6180 and she will come to the property and pick it up.

When is check in and out?

:Check in is after 3:00pm and check out is 11:00am, unless you are given a late checkout.
