Arbuckle Lake
 Arbuckle Lake, also known as the Lake of the Arbuckles, is formed by Arbuckle Dam, is located at the confluence of the Buckhorn, Guy Sandy, and Rock Creeks, and has some of the best year-round fishing in Oklahoma for catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, white bass, and bluegill.
The Arbuckle Lake area presents unusual opportunities, combining recreational use with scenic, scientific, and historic values. There are approximately 36 miles of shoreline and 2,300 acres of open water. The wildlife area is a habitat for turkey, deer, and small game birds. There are also several boat ramps and camping facilities. Public hunting is available at the near by Chickasaw Wildlife Management Area.
Located only 6 miles southwest of the City of Sulphur in Murray County, Arbuckle Lake is one of only a handful of crystal clear water lakes in Oklahoma, making it a favorite among scuba divers.
